The Home Shopping Network recently conducted a
nationwide survey of its shoppers on their holiday buying plans. More than 1,000 random customers in October 2004 were surveyed to indicate their attitudes towards shopping for the upcoming holidays.
Among the many questions asked were those related to buying gifts for pets.
65% of respondents said they are likely to purchase gifts for their pets this year. When asked how much they are likely to spend, 36.5% would spend $10 or less; 18.6% would spend between $10 to $25; with 7.7% spending more than $25.
