Doggone Crazy! announces the release of their new DVD entitled, "Clicker Puppy", a training show designed to teach children and adults how to train a puppy using a clicker. This DVD is unique in that all the training is happening on camera with no rehearsal and the training is done by children.
Clicker training is a popular method used in obedience training. A hand held clicking device is used to produce a "click" sound letting the dog know it successfully completed a command. Clicker Puppy is great for adults who may be intimidated by clicker training because it shows them that it is easy enough for young children to do. Doggone Crazy! president Joan Orr said "one of the puppies is only eight weeks old and is so tiny that he resembles a wind-up toy, but he learns to sit, down, come when called, retrieve, roll over and more in a very short time, all taught by children".
Clicker Puppy can be purchased online from the Doggone Crazy! website at:
