Apothepet - New Pet Pharmacy

Wednesday, January 19, 2005

ApothepetApothepet is the newest online pet pharmacy to hit the market. Unlike other online pharmacies, you can't go to its website and buy stuff "off the shelf". Rather, you obtain a prescription from your pet's veterinarian, and then enter the prescription number into the website. Soon, your order is delivered to your home.

Apothepet is also different in that they specialize only in liquid forms of medication, making it easier for animals to ingest. They offer 29 different flavors including such names as "Grilled Tuna", "Crispy Bacon", "Gooey Molasses", and "Mother's Milk".

If you're interested, ask your veterinarian about using Apothepet.

  • I'm sure the Vet will enjoy giving me a prescription to have filled online, losing the sale.

  • The vets get compensated with a monthly dispensing reimbursement for each script and refill so they are not losing a customer. Apothepet works as an extension of our clinics pharmacy. We use Apothepet at the clinic I tech at and each month the Dr. uses the "cash back" like reimbursement to buy everyone a big lunch buffet. WE love it the Dr. lovesit and the patient gets a great product. Check it out.
