If you have a dog that constantly manages to get loose and wanders away, there is a product out there that will help you track him or her down.

GlobalPetFinder is a GPS device, about the size of cell phone, that gets strapped to your dog's neck. You can set the device to any perimeter, referred to as a "fence", up to 100 miles. If your dog wanders outside of this perimeter the GPS device will send you an alert, either to your cell phone, PDA, or computer, along with periodic reports on the location of your dog.

GlobalPetFinder began taking orders for its product this month. Price is $350.00 for the device, plus $17.99 per month for the tracking service.
