Here's "fairly" new product designed to trick a dog into taking a pill. Medi-Crunch is similar to the other types of treat-based pill enclosures, except that it has a hard crunchy shell. The inside is soft, allowing you to push a pill into it.

But because the outer shell is hard, it triggers a dog's reaction into biting it.

I actually tried Medi-Crunch and they worked great!
