• Personally, I like the idea of putting these guys making the dogs fight into the ring and making them fight to the death. I bet it wouldn't be so popular then. Of course I'm not so nieve to think that that's an okay idea or that it would be acceptable if it were to happen. It's just simply beyond me what these guys get out of this mess! • There should be a license to own certain types of dogs. Violent people shouldn't be allowed to own an aggressive dog. People should have to register thier dogs and take them in for a quarterly report with a government agency of some sort. She lays on the floor in the middle of my three nieces (ages 3, 5 and 8) as they play with their Polly Pocket dolls....she steals the clothes and takes them in the back yard to play. As a Breed Ambassador, it makes me ill to think this behavior still goes on today.

• Please try to watch the movie. My rescue dogs from Reunion Rescue are in the film along with their loving families. Our mayor, Gavin Newsome and local senator, Jackie Speier are trying to pass breed specific legislation so that they can ultimately ban these dogs. • I recently owned a apbt and it has changed my whole opinion on the breed.I have also noticed that people treat you like a criminal when you say it a pitbull.pitbulls are so easy to train and they are a very loyal breed. • BSL does NOT work! If we ban one breed then low lifes will just get another large dog like a Mastiff, Rottie, or GSD. It's the scums that should be banned from owning any animals. I ordered this dvd and will share with others to expose this inhumane treatment to such forgiving, loyal dogs. One of my dogs is a Pitbull mix name Molly. I adopted her from a shelter that kept her alive so she could nurse her 2 pups. She has scars all over her face, puncture marks on her legs, chipped tooth, low nipples from breeding, ear torn at tip. But she is one of the most mellow sweetest dogs you will ever meet. She has learned to love my Shepherd and enjoys snuggling with my cats. She also gave pet thearpy to my Granmom when she had her stroke. I am a responsible owner and she will always be a leash when we walk or when off leash in my enclosed yard. I don't trust people, she would happily go with any human she is so trusting. A person has a greater chance of getting attacked by a butterfly then by my Pitbull, who would rather just sit by your feet and kiss your hand. Goes to show you that X-Fighting dogs can forgive, so whay can't we?

• Having just had my dog attacked by a loose pit bull with no provocation and seen this dog's savagery up close, I know, as a dog owner for many years, that this dog was bred for one purpose. This is in Denver where a ban exists . . . and "nobody in the neighborhood" knows where the dog came from.
  
  I was on the fence about the ban, but when 4 of us could not pull this people friendly dog off of mine, I have changed my mind.
  
  Yes, I agree with the ban, but more importantly, the police and code enforcement officers need to pursue these criminals who train, breed, and fight these dogs. It's humane and a threat to humans, other animals, and livestock.

• I personally am against dogfighting but have seen many and the people saying that the dog is left to die, they are correct but those fights are held by people who also sell drugs, carry guns, and just plain fu@#in idiots. On the other hand some fights that are held in more rural areas have strict rules that are there to, i know this will sound stupid, protect the dog such as a 3 or 5 knockdown rule depending where you go also they have licensed vets on hand who have the authority to stop a fight anytime he or she feels the dog is in danger. Dont get mad at me im against all of it thats why i do what i do, find the fights, those responsible for hosting fights, and anyones name i can remember who puts a dog in the ring, and notify the local police or county sheriff. I'M OUT THERE TRYING TO STOP IT AND NOT JUST COMPLAIN ABOUT IT. oh yeah i've never seen a human get bit at a single fight. sorry for rambling and thanks for reading

• actually if you take the time to learn a little about dog fighting you would know its not as bad as you think. Most true dog fighters care about there dogs more then alot of things. I've seen a man suck blood and who knows what straight from a dogs nose to save its life. its a sport just like boxing or ufc. across seas its legal for people to rip arms and limbs off during a ufc fight. Most pit bulls that are being faught are very well taken care of and trained well too. What makes you hate dog fights is these gangster want to bes that neglect there dog and starve it to try to teach it to fight. there will always be wanna bes. a true pit dog is worth more then the owner itself and is taken care of well. have you ever wondered how some dogs live after being tore up? dedication and hours of nursing from the OWNER. now does that sound like a dog hater? I love pit bulls, and I am a fan of fighting, but I would never fight my dogs are sell my puppies to someone who may fight them. What I'm trying to say is pit bull fighting is a great sport but is being ruined by fake dog fighters. I personally run my dogs 10 miles a day, and they would def. snap a neck in the box.
