The ScatShovel offers a solution by letting you scoop up dog poop without having to bend over, and without turning your tool into a stinkbomb.

You attach a plastic bag over the end of the tool, and the bag itself becomes pooper-scooper. When the bag is full, you dispose of the bag. Everything else stays clean.
