Seems like whenever a holiday approaches, a slew of "pet safety tips" funnels its way into the media channels.
Bark Busters, a company that provides training for dog owners on controlling barking dogs, is among the first to get theirs into our hands. Their
Halloween Safety Tips seem to provide very nominal advice, mostly the kind of stuff that brings out the "I already knew that" in most of us.
But not to downplay their services. I just got back from the vet this afternoon getting Max and Mia their regular checkup, and there was a really anxious dog in the waiting room. It just would not shut up, barking and whining, and making everyone in the waiting room roll their eyes. The owner did her best to control him, and explained that "he's not like this at home". Ok, we know.
And Bark Busters has a lot of great
reading material on their site. Check 'em out.
