• Cool...love this site; traveled cross-country from Maine with my 15 year old Lab, Indy. He was arthritic and lame, but managed to wet his paws in the Pacific. Not too many dogs can claim to be "bi-coastal". He passed away 2 months later, but one of my fondest memories is being able to share the Pacific with my beloved Independence. Thanks for bringing me back there....

• Hey great and wonderful picture Steve. I took my Dog to the Pacific Ocean and we walked on the Beach 3 years ago but then we had to put her down and I could'nt go to sleep by me looking back and seeing her in the hands of people I no longered wanted to touch her. I had cried all night hopieing that she would want to come lay on my bed with me but it just so happened that she was not there to comfort me.... All I saw was me and the blankets... Know all that is left is my mom, dad, my two sisters, and my cat....
