If you dog is used to pooping and peeing outside, what do you do when rain is pouring down? The Poop Tent was created to answer that problem.
WOW. This tent is really cool. I just received one for my dog, and she just loves it. I will definately be recommending the Poop Tent to my friends and family.

I wonder how many dogs are going to use this device. Here in Arizona, when it rains, it POURS. The beating sound of the rain in the Porta Potty would scare a lot of little doggies away. Even the rains in Seattle, where they go on and on all day, would be too much for a lot of doggies. Plus, I can see some owner putting this device in the back yard, and leaving the dog alone out there, as a lazy way of housetraining the dog... which won't work anyway. Then the dog might even use it as a shelter in the rain instead of a potty area.
Whatever happened to putting a leash on the pup, walking out there yourself with the pup with an umbrella, or leading the dog under an eave, gazebo or some other overhang, and getting the job done?
I'm willing to be proved wrong, but I'm betting I'm right.

Thanks so much for your interest in the Poop Tent. I invented it because my dog, Benji, simply would not go out in the rain and snow. I would walk him, but he wouldn't go. We'd both get wet, and then he would have accidents in the middle of the night. He is a perfect dog in every other way, but this problem went on for four years...
Since I had the opportunity to use prototypes, Benji has been using his Poop Tent for about six months now. The first time was when Hurricane Dennis dropped eighteen hours of steady rain on the Washington, DC area. He doesn't use it on sunny days...we still walk a lot. But when it rains, it is the only way to get him to go outside.
The fabric is softer than plastic, so there is no noise to frighten the dogs. And it is big enough for Benji to spin around in and use for a few days, if necessary.
There is no covered area for me to take Benji in the rain, so I invented it. I know everyone who has this problem and trie the Poop Tent will have the same positive results I had with Benji.
Happy Holidays!

I'm open to new ideas, and if this product works, then more power to you. Many dogs won't potty in the rain, and if you don't have a plan for them, then you have accidents in your home. I'd be willing to see if it worked, and if I was going to purchase this invention, then I would want some customer testimonials.
This might be a great device, but since I don't have personal experience with it, then it is up to the market place to tell us how well it works, and up to the manufacturer to provide data to consumers... and dog trainers like myself... to educate us.
I don't want to bad mouth something that works... so..
Best wishes with your invention!

Here in Northern California we just had nine days of the heaviest rain in some time. Thanks to this product my dog got in and out of the rain without getting soaking wet and smelling up the house! I think it's a great way to train your dog to do his or her thing in one area and not soil multiple areas of your lawn. Thanks for a great product!!!

Santa brought one to my baby and we are delighted. I was suprised as I had never heard of such a thing! The rain has been relentless here in the Sacramento area and my baby will potty on the floor before going out in the rain. She was introduced a couple of times to the tent by me getting in the tent and coaxing her in..she was not afraid and took right to it. I placed some of her feces in the tent as the instructions state and she got the idea. She hates the rain and wet ground on her paws! This product has been a God-send....Thank you so much Nan and Benji!
