Polyester Body Sleeves for Dogs

PetsleevesA company called Petsleeves, LLC. is offering a product called "Petsleeves".

It's billed as "Disposable Petwear", primarily to reduce the amount of loose pet hair and allergens on your furniture and rug, and to help protect your dog from fleas and burrs.

It's made of 100% polyester, and you don't wash it, just throw it away. It kinda resembles those plastic/rubber panties that mommies used to put on their babies.

One interesting point, is that it could prevent dogs from biting a surgical wound, which eliminates having to wear the "lamp shade".

And yes, it's ... wait a minute ... Veterinarian Approved!

They come in eight different sizes, ranging from $14.95 to $18.95.

  • Hello - I enjoyed reading your article on Petsleeves. I would like to say that Petsleeves are not rubber or plastic-like. They are made of a soft fabric-like polyester. They are very breathable so the pet does not get hot. I think it makes perfect sense to cover our furry family members when inside or in the car to help keep the home or car clean. Petsleeves also helps protect your pet when you take it outside. By the way, the Golden is my dog, Hanna, and she has been wearing Petsleeves for over a year.

  • What a great idea!! Where can I buy these? I need them because my allergies are so bad and my golden sheds all over my furniture and on my bed!!!
