Cigars for Dogs

Monday, May 15, 2006

ChewgarsMade in Mexico, Chewgars are new in the USA and in Canada from Greensboro, NC-based Flora & Hurd Inc.

The beef, chicken, and chocolate-flavored, shrink-wrapped rawhide chews resemble six-inch cigars, and has a cigar-style band that pictures a dog with a Chewgar dangling from its mouth.

They're packaged up in a wooden display box, just like real stogies.

They even employ real Chewgar rollers, girls who cut the materials and roll them up into hide-based humidors.

Check out photos of dogs smoking their chewgars.

  • That's nothing new! A dog treat with a very similar name "Cigrrs" have been around for years...
