Some dogs like to lie on their bellies with their hind legs kicked out behind them.

Our beagle Mia does this a lot, and I always get a kick out of watching her.

  • My mini doxie does the same thing. She will drag her legs behind her as she crawls with her front legs. It is really funny to watch, I agree. I guess it's just pure laziness. She'll give a big yawn and drag herself. I laugh everytime, it never gets old. She lays the same way too, like a frog.

  • Our corgi does it, too. Half the time he lays down to chew a rawhide, he's spread out like that. We used to call it his "tuning fork" routine, but I think we'll call it frog from now on. Much cuter term.
