Jakks White Bites

Thursday, May 18, 2006

Jakks White BitesJAKKS Pacific, Inc. announced it's new doggie breath freshener treat, "White Bites" earlier this month.

It's described as a tasty oral care treat that helps promote cleaner teeth and fresher breath.

White Bites are chewy and abrasive, and use the power of baking soda to help freshen breath. They're also supplemented with milk protein. The company claims that they formulated White Bites specifically with safety and digestibility in mind, using a single process procedure that makes them break down in dogs' stomachs.

White Bites come in small, medium, and large sizes, with suggested retail prices ranging from $4.99 to $15.99.

They're due to premier in PETCO stores on May 20, 2006.

  • "Jakks White Bites" have made my 11-year-old standard poodle sick. We have our second vet appointment tomorrow morning (8/5/06). So far, it has cost me $275 and a sick dog.

  • That's pretty awful for that poodle - I feel bad for her. I have been buying White Bites for about 6 months now and my beagle is absolutely crazy about them. He gets one every morning to "brush his teeth". I don't think that I would give him any more than that and the package suggests no more than two/day. Some animals (like people) just can't tolerate certain things.
