Breyers announced today they released the "first real ice cream sandwich formulated especially for dogs".
I wouldn't mind getting this for my dog; she loves doggie ice cream. But I think that (contrary to what is published here) the andwich would be messier than the cups; the sandwich will go on the floor as it is pushed off the plate, whereas what's in the bowl stays in the bowl (at least for my dog....)

True if you give the whole sandwich. I think that's why Breyers added perforations, so that you can break it up into bite-sized pieces. I've given ice cream cups to my dogs, and they seem to eat it just fine also, though they end up pushing those cups all over the place!

I like the cups better. It keeps the dogs busy for at least 5 minutes instead of 2 bites and the sandwich is gone.

I love this idea. It would be great while i'm eating my ice cream and give my dog Clyde is very own ice cream at the same time, mean while he thinks he is getting something special by eating with mommy.... The sandwish will only be messy if u tolerate ur dogs to eat at they want. I hand feed my treats to Clyde so I think this is a GREAT TREAT idea.

Just so You know regarding the other comments prior...we have given these to Our dog and have had no problem with them being messy or falling apart. Our dog loves them. Great product as far as we are concerned. Hope they get to canada so My friend can get them for Her dog.

Our doggie loves these. Since he is small, we break off just one of the sections for him as a special treat after his bath. They aren't messy at all. He gets sooo excited after he is dried and brushed running to the fridge.

My two little rescues love these as do the neighbors' Jack Russell and big, black fluffy dog. All four of them gather at our front door each morning, sit and wait their turn as as I feed them bites of ice cream sandwich. It's great. The best doggie treats ever.
