The Pedigree Brand of pet food today unveiled its new "Super Chew", claiming it to be an innovative long-lasting meaty treat for dogs, and that it "finally" offers a safe and delicious alternative to other potentially dangerous chews and toys.
Very cool, i'll be picking one up this weekend!

I bought the large size for my dog. Not only was it not long lasting (she ate it in less than 5 minutes), but it stained my rug. The next day she vomited several times and has had really horrible diarrhea. She can't even keep water down. Don't ever buy this product! I will be sending a complaint to Pedigree.

I had a very similar experience... last night, we bought the large size for our 75 lb coonhound, and she devoured it in about 15 minutes. The fact that it didn't last very long doesn't bother me at all given all of the trouble that we had the next day!
We had taken her out for her usual walk before going to work, and when we returned a few hours later, my dog - who never has accidents in the house since puppyhood, had left several puddles of diarrhea on our kitchen floor, and one was even bloody.
She's never had a bad reaction to a treat food before, and this scared us half to death. I will be sending a complaint to Pedigree as well, and certainly will never buy this product again. I find it somewhat frightening that when I did a web search on this chew, I found that I'm not the only one that has had this problem with it.

My dog, as well, has had a horrible reaction to this product. And what scares me is that these other posts were made a few months ago and this product is still on the shelves. I am also going to send a complaint. This product needs to be recalled!!!!!!!!!
