If you have taken some nice digital photographs of your dog,
the authors of a new dog book would like to see them. Rick
Smolan and David Elliot Cohen, creators of the best selling
book, "America 24/7" are working on new book, "Dogs
24/7" which chronicles America's love affair with dogs.
Anyone who has snapped up a digital photo of their dog can
submit their photos for review. The best photos will be published
in the new book. The deadline to submit photos is October
31, 2004. The book will be published in June of 2005, from
Chronicle Books.
To submit a photo, visit: http://www.dogs24-7.com/
If a photo is published as a large display image, the photographer
will receive a free copy of the book, a photo credit and the
satisfaction of knowing their pet is the new family celebrity.
Chronicle Books has partnered with WebShots.com to host the
digital photo gallery for the new book. WebShots is a company
that hosts virtual photo albums on the Internet.
"Webshots enjoys a very active and passionate community that
loves to share their pictures with the world," said Narendra
Rocherolle, Vice President of Webshots. "We're proud to be
the exclusive photo service for this project, and are confident
that our audience's contributions will help make these new
entries in the America 24/7 series a dynamic viewing experience
for pet fans."
