“Dog Days of Summer” at the East Bay SPCA
“Dog Days of Summer” at the East Bay SPCA
Event offers adopters a chance to visit with dogs in natural
settings, outside the confines of kennels and habitats.
Oakland & Dublin, CA (PRWEB) June 2, 2004--Visitors to the
Oakland SPCA and the Tri-Valley SPCA in Dublin are invited
to join us for a celebration of the "Dog Days of Summer."
This is the East Bay SPCA’s once-a-year opportunity to show
off the smart, friendly, loyal, coiffed, goofy, happy, energetic
dogs at one of their two East Bay Adoption Centers.
From 11 AM to 3 PM, visitors to both Adoption Centers will
have a chance to meet all available dogs, all over the shelter.
Each dog will have its own handler and be out and about in
our facility, strutting their stuff, so adopters have an opportunity
to see what they are like outside of the confines of their
comfy but restrictive habitats.
In addition to dogs available for adoption, there will be
a “Tricks ‘ n Training” Exhibition, a Doggy Grooming station
for donations, Pet Fortune Tellers with your own personalized
“doggy tea leaf,” and Canine Good Citizen (CGC) testing. We
will have certified CGC testers available to assess your dog’s
ability to demonstrate good manners at home and in the community.
