Lint cards are not only useful, they
provide excellent marketing real estate
|
There is now a product called "Lint Card", which
fits into your wallet or purse, designed to pick up unsighly
lint and dog hair from your clothes. Lint Card is a package
of sticky sheets, about the size of a credit card.
Lint Card's inventor, Russel King of Vancouver, Canada, says
his new product is hitting it big with pet owners. "One
of the big surprises has been our reception in the pet world!
We are big with pet owners and have been publicized in Modern
Dog and mainstream fashion magazines such as FLARE and FASHION
and REAL SIMPLE."
King has also discovered that Lint Cards make an excellent
advertising vehicle. "Not only are they handy, the cards
are a marketer's dream," says the inventor. "Pfizer,
Crowne Plaza, IDA and many other companies are using them
to carry important marketing information."
Dog groomers, pet supply stores, pet sitters, and others,
can get Lint Cards made up with their business logo and contact
information on them, and then either sell them or pass them
out to their customers. King thinks that his idea will become
a mainstream marketing idea. "This is probably the biggest
thing since book matches and the perfect replacement for them."
