Syndicated Cartoonist Creates a "Poop Free Zone" Yard Sign

Homeowners tired of inconsiderate dog-owners letting their dogs poop on their yards, can seek help from this new product.

dog poop signST.LOUIS, MO (PRWEB) July 9, 2004 -- Syndicated cartoonist Todd Schowalter is taking on careless dog owners with his new line of Poop Free Zone yard signs. The colorful signs feature his comic strip beagle, being crossed out while going "doo doo."

"Our house is on a corner lot and receives a good share of "hits" from dogs, while being walked by their owners," says Schowalter. "I wanted to take a lighthearted approach to letting them know that I didn’t appreciate it, " he continues. "When my signs kept getting stolen, I thought there might be a market for these things."

The signs are currently being sold through Schowalter’s syndicate Plain Label Press (www.plainlabelpress.com), on e-bay and various retail outlets.
