Wizdog Indoor Dog Potty
A new litter box for your dog that doesn't use any sand
or granules.

A company in San Diego, California has introduced a new litter
box for your dog, called, "Wizdog". It uses no sand,
granules, or pellets. Instead it uses newspaper or potty pads.
The
Wizdog consists of a plastic tray with a grate that rests
on top. The dog walks onto the grate, relieves him or herself,
and is absorbed by the newspaper in the tray. When a dog poops,
you can simply flip the grate over.
The makers of Wizdog claim that this also keeps paws clean
so that a dog doesn't track his waste around the house.
“Litter boxes do not apply to dogs like they do for cats”
says Dany Beylerian, the inventor of the Wizdog Potty. “Dogs
kick and eat the pellets. I’ve tried them. Wizdog is definitely
the cleaner, less expensive solution. It is a one time purchase
and does not require the constant purchase of costly and bulky
refills.”
Beylerian says he came up with the idea when he lived in
a small apartment in Manhattan with Daisy, his English Bulldog
featured on his website. He initially built a prototype from
various parts and then refined the design on his home computer.
He knew there were other dog owners out there that were so
distressed with housetraining that they considered placing
their friend in a shelter. He knew Wizdog was the proper solution,
and that it would help dogs and their owners towards a closer
relationship.
Wizdog is currently available from its website, and will
soon be available in stores.
