Are you hoping to take a vacation this summer but don't know
where to go? DogFriendly.com offers some great suggestions
to dog owners with its 2004 edition of the "Top 10 Dog-Friendly
Cities in North America".
The rankings are determined by DogFriendly.com's staff, and
consider things like the number of dog-friendly accommodations,
availability of interesting things to do with your dog, outdoor
restaurants that allow dogs and public transportation that
allows both small and large dogs.

Monterey-Carmel - Has a very dog-friendly attitude.
Many dog-friendly accommodations, fine outdoor restaurants,
dog-friendly beaches, a 5 mile coastal trail and boat
tours that welcome dogs. Bonus points for not needing
a car once in town.

Cape Cod-Nantucket - Small and large dogs can
fly in the cabin on the local airplanes, and are welcome
on the ferries and shuttle buses. Also offers many dog-friendly
inns and beaches.

outdoor dining. Many establishments cater to dogs. An
